	History:	Alan was the son of Timothy and the late L. Karen (Parker) Jones. He graduated from Akron High School, Class of 1974. Alan worked as an Assembler at Strippit Inc. in Akron. He was a member of the Heron Clan on the Tonawanda Indian Reservation.
	Family:	Besides his father, Alan is survived by 5 children- Kyle T. (Julie) Jones of Akron, Shannon D. (Jennifer) Jones of Mesa, AZ, Karlie Jones, Ivan Dakota B. Jones both of E. Pembroke, NY and Colton Jones of Buffalo, NY; grandfather of Alyssa and Tyler Jones and Desiree and Trevor Jones; brother of Thomas H. Jones, Kayleen (Duane) Abrams and Teri Jones Winnie all of Basom, NY and the late David Jones and Stanley "Skip" Jones; Brother in-law of Vanessa Jones of Akron, NY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. Funeral will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church, Basom.
	Burial:	Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery, Basom.
