	History:	He was a graduate of Barker High School. While at Barker, Darren was a star of the school track team, breaking records in running. He went on to receive his degree from Niagara Community College in Physical Education. He was a self-employed construction worker and roofer, working for several local companies in the area. Darren attended the Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church in Basom, NY. He enjoyed playing Lacrosse and running in local 5k races.
	Family:	He was the son of the late Cecil and Eva (General) Harris. Survivors include his wife Lisa (Cummings) Harris whom he married on August 21 1999. Loving and proud father of Madison, Morgan and Mayah Harris. Brother of Edwin, Peter (Rona), Joel (Thea), Willaim, Leona, Cecilia and Anthony Harris Sr. all of Lockport, Patrick (Shelia) of Barker, Michael (Cindy) of Olcott, Ken of California and Lawren Harris of Buffalo; Son in Law of Leslie and Marsha Cummings of Akron; also surviving are several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and many friends.
	Viewing info:	Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4-7-9 in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave. Akron, NY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am in the Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church, 565 Bloomingdale Rd. Basom, where Rev. Robert Dean pastor will officiate.
	Burial:	Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Akron.
