  Joseph was a graduate of Seneca Vocational High School.Joe went on to proudly serve his country from 1943- 1944 in the US Army. For several years he served as Operations Manager for Mennen- Greatbatch in Clarence, N.Y. Joe went onto to work for Sierra Research Company in Cheektowaga retiring as a Program Manager after many years of service.
  Mr. LaCopa was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Clarence, N.Y. where he proudly served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #83 in Clarence. Joe was a former member of the Lancaster Fire Company. He enjoyed swimming in his pool. He was most proud of the love he had for his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
Family:
  Son of the late Joseph and Marie (Tauriello) LaCopa. Loving husband of Joan (Stachowski) Whom he married March 23, 1974. Devoted father of Donna Donahue, Denise (Frank) Maloney and Dawn LaCopa, cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
